Robert Bruce Dalglish, CEO of Alliance and All Caring Hospice
announces the formation of the Alliance and All Caring Hospice Foundation
The mission of the Alliance and All Caring Hospice Memorial Foundation is to honor the lives of those who have died while on hospice. The Foundation does this by providing for those we continue to serve.
Some terminally ill patients and their families do not have the means to provide all that is involved in the dying process. Donations to the Alliance/All Caring Hospice Memorial Foundation will help support expenses that are not related to health care but are critically important to the patient’s and family’s physical, emotional or spiritual comfort.
Examples of how a memorial donation may benefit a patient are:
- Help with rent or mortgage
- Funeral expenses
- Utility Bills
- Airfare for a loved one to come home
- Fans for those without air conditioning
This assistance is available to patients and families served by Alliance Hospice and is evaluated based on need. The Alliance/All Caring Hospice Foundation Board, with input from the Interdisciplinary Team serving the patient, approves the request for donation monies. This approval is performed in a timely fashion to ensure the needs are met.
